Computer Science Section

In order to create games, you need to understand key concepts of programming in general first. That's what this section is all about. This section is divided into three main fields:
  • Programming, i.e. how to write computer programs
  • Data Transmission, i.e. how to transmit data (key concepts, protocols, constraints)
  • Hardware, i.e. understand how the machine works helps you be a good programmer
In these categories, you'll find subsections dealing with the main domains that compose them. This knowledge is widely used in programming in general, so there is no doubt you'll encounter them during game development as well, sooner or later.
If you are focusing on game development, you might not see the need for these articles at first sight, but I think it is highly probable you will need at least part of what is shown here at some point. If that's the case, then you need not learn all this, but may simply use what you need as you need it.
