Who are we?
Our goal is to make accessible to more and more people, this great tool that Microsoft XNA Game Studio is.
For that, we wish to create a meeting point for the creators of all country, and then to translate all the tutorials in the three languages currently supported : French, Spanish, and English.
Of course, you are welcome to this site. Do not hesitate to give us some feedback!

A word about XNA Meeting Point
XNA Meeting Point was created in the summer 2009. I had been learning about how to use XNA for some time at that point, and I wanted to share what I had learned with the other beginners worldwide.
The idea was also to create a meeting point where lots of different articles about XNA could be found. It was very important to me to support multiple languages, as I realized that most learning resources were in English.
It quickly grew as different authors posted tutorials, or allowed the translation of their tutorials. And today, XNA Meeting Point is an important knowledge database about XNA development.
And the website keeps on growing as we now seek to provide articles about XNA/C# development, but also XNA/VB development, alternative frameworks (e.g. MonoGame, ANX Framework), Game Development in general, Computer Science, Math and Physics. We recently launched a video channel and a podcast. We also provide tools now, for instance, a comprehensive HTML code formatter for XNA code that we wrote in order to make it easier to display XNA code on web pages that we decided to share with everyone.
More than an article database, the goal of this website is to be a meeting point, which is why we write Community Spotlight articles, and we accept Game Render submissions.
Everyone is welcomed to take part to this adventure, whether by reading, learning, sharing, writing, translating, emailing, sending feedback!
And as goes our motto, "learn with all of us!"

Our logo
Some of you have been asking us what our logo meant. Actually, it's very simple.
- First of all, the three flags represent the three languages that are currently supported on this website,
- The object that you see over these flags is one of the first virtual reality headsets. It represents the topic we address, i.e. game development, and computer science in general, as it opens the way to a virtual reality.
Our motto
Our motto is "Learn with all of us!". It really summarizes the goal of XNA Meeting Point, i.e. providing a place where everyone can contribute in order to help each other achieve our goals in game development.
Indie Game development is not something easy to start in. And the best way to learn is to do it with others that have already started working their way through these difficulties.
